Ballad for Peace

This video is a submission from our Red Flag community. They are the collective called Global Change Media. Even though they live in Southern Arizona - far from the conflict in Syria - we are always connected to the human experience we all share, whether we recognize it or not. And when we feel the resonance of pain being endured by people in other parts of this world, there is always something we can do even when we feel helpless. Global Media Change and VansGuard chose to create this song and video to raise awareness and extend their compassion and hope. In the words of the producers: "The makers & creators of this song and music video stand on the side of love, justice, peace, empathy and compassion. We understand that this is a deeply political situation and we have been asked about what side we are on, however our hope is that Syria by VansGuard is a call for all to realize that we must war no more, and that we must begin to regard everyone as our brothers and sisters."
