I was 18, a dj at a college radio station, ('88). We'd get stacks of new vinyl in every week. There was this 'obscure' 12" single of 'If I ever' by a group called red flag. I've been a fan since 88. I don't know which brother it was but my best friend Bobby Shipley was in a college class with one of the brothers awhile back when he gave a report in a class on the band. It was in San Diego. Afterwards he said I have a friend in Maryland who is a huge fan. And from time to time they would hang out in piano bars because of the extra money. Which brother am I talking about? I have always been jealous. This would have been in the late 90's or so.

I first saw redflag in the summer of 1988. I must have like one of their first tshirts still in new condition. They performed at a bar in North Hollywood I think. I would be great to see them out here in LA again.
